Nach langer, langer Durststrecke ist jetzt endlich die ixtreme lt+ Firmware für das XBox 360 Slim Laufwerk 9504 erschienen. Das Slim Laufwerk ist in XBox 360 Slim Konsolen bis einschließlich Baujahr Juli 2010 enthalten. Der XBox 360 Slim Umbau ist somit zumindest bei diesen Baureihen nun problemlos möglich.

Hoffen wir, dass die ixtreme lt+ Firmware nun auch in absehbarer Zeit für das Liteon 0225 Slim Laufwerk erscheinen wird,  dort ist zur Zeit leider immer noch “nur” das auslesen der Firmware möglich.

Interessante XBox 360 Slim Umbau News eben auf xboxscene.com entdeckt. Der Entwickler der ixtreme Xbox 360 Firmware C4eva verschickt morgen die ixtreme lt+ Firmware für die XBox 360 Slim Konsole an ausgesuchte Tester. Mal schauen wie es so weitergeht…..

Auf der Webseite vom Team Xecuter hat das Team gestern Stellung genommen zur aktuellen Situation -> Für die XBox 360 Slim Konsolen ist noch immer keine ixtreme Firmware vom Entwickler C4eva verfügbar.

Es hielt sich das Gerücht, dass C4eva die Firmware Version für die XBox 360 Slim Konsolen erst veröffentlicht, wenn das Xecuter X360 USB Pro Tool erschienen ist oder die Firmware sogar nur exklusiv mit dem X360 USB Pro funktionieren könnte. Das Team bestätigt nun mit der offiziellen Stellungnahme, dass dies falsch sei!

C4eva hat einen Job und führt ein “normales” Leben, die Erstellung der Firmware für Slim 360 Laufwerke sei sehr schwierig und zeitaufwendig und C4eva hätte die letzten 6 Monate hart daran gearbeitet. Aber auch das Team Xecuter wüßte nicht, wann die lang erwartete Firmware erscheinen wird!

Hier ein kleiner Auszug vom Statement, mehr auf der Homepage vom Team Xecuter:

Another point we would like to address while we have your attention, is that there are still persistent, and silly rumors that C4E is holding back the release of the Slim FW so that our X360USB PRO can be released first. We have responded to this MANY times on the forums but let us make one thing very clear and on the record. C4E is NOT holding back the release of the Slim FW for Xecuter or for anyone. It is a very, very difficult and time consuming hack and he has been working on it solid for the last 6 months. The guy has a job, he has a life, just let him do his thing. It IS and WILL be released, but even we don’t know when, and we are on the same team.

Another dumb rumor is that the Slim FW is being locked and made exclusive to the X360USB PRO. We have even seen so-called smart people suggest this. Well if our 10 year track record in the Xbox scene has shown anything – it’s that we have ALWAYS given masses to the scene with regards to Bios’ and Hacks and various methods for free and without any exclusivity. Yes we design products that are hardware add-ons and that is a business and yes there are those that don’t like that and that’s fine. However, we’ve been at the core of the Xbox scene since day #1 and we didn’t change our principles back then and we’re not going to change them now. Don’t listen to silly rumors, or bullshit flaming or lies spread by childish fanboys. There is no deal to lock ANYTHING to the X360USB PRO. To be honest it doesn’t need any deal like that, it’s fantastic on its own, which quite a large amount of you will find out for yourselves next week, we know you are anxious !

Anyway, we hope that clears everything up. Don’t forget to leave test reports in the #fw channel and we can then get a bunch of other titles ready in the next day or so.

Es gibt endlich mal wieder Neuigkeiten zum XBox 360 Slim Umbau. Wie berichtet “hängt” der Slim Umbau zur Zeit am Slim Liteon Laufwerk mit Bios 0225. Dies kann zur Zeit nur ausgelesen, nicht aber wieder beschrieben werden. Die Seite Xbox Scene.com hat jetzt mal wieder ein interessantes Chatprotokoll veröffentlicht. Wie man lesen kann, wird zur Zeit an einer Schreiblösung für das Bios 0225 gearbeitet! Auch über das neue Xecuter X360 USB Pro verliert C4eva einige interessante Worte, doch lest selbst:

Wie vor wenigen Tagen berichtet, gab es Probleme nach dem aktuellen XBox 360 Dashboardupdate 2.0.12625.0 vom 19 Januar 2011. Nach wenigen Tagen sind die Probleme nun behoben, ein Firmwareupdate ist nicht notwendig, die Spiele können gepatcht werden.

Die notwendigen Patche wurden bereits in der aktuellen ABGX360 (v1.05) Datenbank integriert! Also patchen und gut ist

Hier Auszüge aus der aktuellen Meldung von der Team-Xecuter Webseite:

after New Dash Update 12625 the following games do not boot (Black Screen):
Black Ops
Modern Warfare 2
Halo Reach

This is an AP2.5 Update so naturally this does not affect non AP2.5 DVD drives (Early Hitachi & Samsung).
If you had LT+ flashed then you will NOT be flagged for a possible ban (good Job c4eva !).
If you did not have LT+ flashed and you tried to boot these games as backups then you are probably flagged for a ban.
AP2.5 Data both PAL and NTSC have been extracted (thanks to c4 and k3) and c4 is now working on the patches and testing will commence.

There will be no need for a firmware update.

MS liefert seit gestern, 19 Januar 2011 ein neues Dashboardupdate für die Xbox 360 Konsole. Unter anderem enthält das Update 2.0.12625.0 wieder die  “Boot to Disc” Möglichkeit, die bei einem vorherigen Update entfernt wurde. Damit ist es möglich, wenn man die XBox 360 Konsole anschaltet, entweder in das Hauptmenü Dashboard der XBox 360 Konsole zu kommen oder das Spiel welches sich im Laufwerk befindet direkt zu starten.

Jetzt aber das eigentlich interessante zum neuen Update 2.0.12625.0 .
Die Spiele Halo Reach und Call of Duty Modern Warfare sowie Black Ops werden auch mit der neusten auf dem Markt befindlichen ixtreme lt+ Firmware als Sicherheitskopie nur mit einem Blackscreen gebootet. Andere Spiele wie Need for Speed oder Assassins Creed Brotherhood usw. laufen ohne Probleme, so dass bis jetzt nur von diesen Ausnahmen zu sprechen ist. Im Forum von XBoxscene.com wird gerade eine Menge dazu zusammengetragen, ihr findet die Seite hier: XBoxScene Forum

Es handelt sich wie gesagt nur um die Sicherheitskopien.  Es ist davon auszugehen, das ein Patchen der Spiele ausreichen wird, damit diese wieder laufen (muß man bei aktuellen AP 25 Titeln ja sowieso schon machen). C4eva der Entwickler der ixtreme Firmware soll sich schon mit dem Problem beschäftigen. So lange nur diese Informationen zur Verfügung stehen und in Foren ein zusammentragen von Informationen stattfindet, sollte das aktuelle Dashboardupdate noch nicht installiert werden!

Es gibt Neuigkeiten vom Team Xecuter auch in Bezug auf den lang erwarteten XBox 360 Slim Umbau. Wir hatten bereits vom X360 USB Pro Tool von Team Xecuter berichtet, dies soll jetzt in der nächsten Woche an Tester verschickt und anschließend an Händler zur Markteinführung geliefert werden. Kostenpunkt ca. 44,95 Euro.

Mit dem Tool können alle XBox 360 Laufwerke via USB Schnittstelle ausgelesen und beschrieben werden AUCH die XBox 360 Slim Liteon Laufwerke mit Bios 9504 und 0225. Sowohl das schreiben als auch auslesen beim XBox 360 Slim Laufwerk Bios 9504 ist möglich. Das XBox 360 Slim Laufwerk Bios 0225 kann ausgelesen aber leider noch nicht beschrieben werden, hoffen wir, dass es dort nun langsam mal voran geht…Für das brandneue XBox 360 Slim Laufwerk Revision 0500 gibt es leider noch keine Erfolgsmeldung zu verzeichen. Es bleibt also abzuwarten, wann ein XBox 360 Slim Umbau final erscheinen wird.
